The MAKEUPDROP™ silicone sponge turned up at my desk a few months ago and as you know I am always behind the camera I don’t get a chance to apply #makeup to my clients. Hence the delay in talking about it. My busy lifestyle also means I never really have time to take to doll myself up. But when I do get the chance I normally just blot a bit of foundation on my face with my sponge and I just hope people won’t notice.

It does feel a bit strange at first as the texture is super smooth unlike the traditional sponge. It takes a bit of getting used to. I made the mistake of putting my normal amount of foundation on the sponge and it was a smeared mess on my face. But once I realised I did not need as much I had better success.  It takes a bit of getting used to but there are some plusses to having this in your kit, easy to use, washable and less wastage of beauty products.
